Editing photos with gimp gives you so many possibilities! This article could be endless, but i will try to make it short and cover some basics. I will explain you how to set the contrast, the white balance, how to handle the curves and how to resize your photo in the end.
Some of those tips could be helpful for Photomanipulations, too!
So we have our photo, but it looks a bit dull... what should we do to bring a bit more contrast into it?
Oh, right, GIMP has this brightness and contrast tool, so we just - no. Never, never use it. Don't even think about it. Here is the reason:

How stunning were all the texture uploads in 2014 so far? For this feature Sirius-sdz and I mercurycode each picked 20 texture treasures among our favorites this year. Now, bare in mind that though I grant a good amount of time for it, there is no need to stress yourself out about it. The prizes aren't grand and spectacular, no. They are aimed as a fun thing in truth, and as motivation.
There are three prizes to be won for the following categories: Beginner, intermediate and highly commended artworks. A wire-puzzle and pranking golf-ball for best in intermediate class, a wire puzzle for best in beginner class and a prank golf-ball for highly commended artwork.

Paypal has changed their layout, you can still send invoices but you can no longer select digital goods.
I haven't had time to really look into it and come up with a solution.
but you pretty much HAVE to send out something physical now if you want to be fully protected. There's still main points in this journal that describe how to go about that.
